In Summary
Our Process
Once collected and shipped to us, each implant lot is evaluated and assigned a unique customer number to trace thru the refining process. After all the implant alloys have been smelted into a homogenized mixed-metal bar, we than use a XRF test to see what percentage and types of metals are in the mixed-metal bar. The final process is acid reduction which is used to separate the precious elements into pure form for reuse.
