Our Process

Pacemakers & Defibrillators
Pacemakers generally have little or no value; however, some of the lead wires are made of platinum group metals and can have a high recycle value.

Implant Metals
Implant metals such as knees, hips, shoulders, spinal, etc., are comprised primarily of stainless steel and titanium metal groups. In small volumes, these metals have a low recycle value.
Induction Furnace
Because dental implants hold most of the value from recycling we take additional steps to insure that we can recover these metals. Most dental implants are alloyed with precious and nor precious metals during manufacturing. With an in house 15KW Induction furnace we melt all dental implants and pacemaker wires. This process helps to create proper homogenization of all metal groups ensuring all precious metals can be identified.





XRF Testing
We utilize an XRF non destructive testing process to create accountability throughout the refining process and to help ensure proper values are obtained for each metal group.
