How We Can Help

Its no secret that dental implants hold the most value when it comes to recycling Implant metals.  This is why most cremation/funeral homes are targeted by a lot of companies offering to recycle these metals. Giving valuable implant metals away to recycling companies can be difficult. We understand how much pressure you are under. Entrepreneurs and business managers often juggle many roles and face countless setbacks—lost customers, increased completion, staffing problems – all while needing to make payroll. By using our program you can help offset your recycling costs. We compensate our partners for their handling and operating expenses associated with implant recycling. The best part of our program is that with the dental implants you will get the same compensation as our national dental offices receive for their recycling and  collection  efforts.

Our Process

Talk to Us
1

Lifecycle SPC provides your organization with a free recycling container and arranges pickup; free of charge, when this container is full or you wish to ship.
2

We contact you when your container is received and assign it a secure identification number for tracking during the entire sorting and refining process.
3

Next, various metals go through a detailed process of evaluation to separate into their categories (cobalt, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and dental alloys etc.) and are weighed, smelted, and assayed. Precious metals are extracted.
4

After the lot has been processed, you are contacted with the report of the proceeds being donated on your behalf and a confirmation of the amount returned to you for your recycling costs. The check will be made out to the non profit charity of your choice, and mailed either to you or directly to the charity.

Pacemakers & Defibrillators

Pacemakers generally have little or no value; however, some of the lead wires are made of platinum group metals and can have a high recycle value.

Implant Metals

Implant metals such as knees, hips, shoulders, spinal, etc., are comprised primarily of stainless steel and titanium metal groups. In small volumes, these metals have a low recycle value.

Induction Furnace

Because dental implants hold most of the value from recycling we take additional steps to insure that we can recover these metals. Most dental implants are alloyed with precious and nor precious metals during manufacturing.  With an in house 15KW Induction furnace we melt all dental implants and pacemaker wires.  This process helps to create proper homogenization of all metal groups ensuring all precious metals can be identified.

XRF Testing

We utilize an XRF non destructive testing process to create accountability throughout the refining process and to help ensure proper values are obtained for each metal group.
